Julian Bosnic our transfer from South Carolina went in the 14th round to Pittsburgh.
Former Razorbacks Mark Adamiak and Blake Adams have been drafted today as well.

Slavens is still available and likely goes udfa. I wonder if he returns at that point or if he is ready to move on. He really offers nothing. Too much swing and miss and nothing major defensively.

Stovall moving to second means Slavens is probably the best defender at 1B of him, Cali and Diggs. Granted I haven’t seen the last two play it but he was pretty solid there.
Really wish one of these DH/1B we got was also a stud catcher then that would solve a lot of problems

I think Diggs will be in the OF next year. Jones at 3B. Coll at SS. Stovall 2B. Neville CF. The main uncertainty is C and then the other OF spot. If Slavens returns and wears glasses, I wouldnt mind having him back. I know he hit 16 HR and but he K'd way too much.

Slavens K:BB ratio improved +9 last year. He struck out 2 more times than his stellar '21 campaign and walked 11 more times.

Right now I think you have to put Wegner in the OF over Diggs since he’s a proven .300+ hitter in college at Creighton but this time last year I wasn’t sure why we took Lanzilli because I didn’t think there was a spot for him so who knows how it will turn out after fall ball.

I honestly thought he was out of eligibility. If the CC year counts as a covid year like it did for D1 players, you have to take him back unless there's a transfer upgrade. Doubtful a freshman will be more productive.

Huge for the bullpen since it is looking like Bosnic will sign. Hoping Hollan the JC transfer can give us another reliable lefty arm out of the bullpen as well.
