Wallace to KC at pick 49. $1.58M slot

Dropped about 10-20 spots further than expected, but no surprise that KC picked him up

Sims went at 34.

Pallette should be any time now but I can't help but hope he drops more n more for a possible return to Ark.

Didn’t his batting dip?

Not a huge loss. Just had TJ so likely wouldn't be available for most if not all of next season, and would be draft eligible after '24. So if he had a good/great season, we'd likely get him for one year total.

Battles had zero chance of going in the top 2 rds.

Nah, last year he went from .269 to .289 and hit 4 more home runs than 2021. It may just have not been as big of a jump as the scouts wanted to see.

Battles won't get anywhere close to that slot value as a senior sign.

Agreed and Wallace and Moore might get quite a bit more than theirs.

Evan Taylor and Connor Noland go back to back at 263 and 264 to the Marlins and Cubs. Both slots at roughly $165K. I believe both can come back, neither likely will.

So many 4YR JR, 4YR SR, 4YR 5S taken in rounds 4-10 today.

Teams are loading up on "senior signs" so they can afford players elsewhere in the draft.

First 5 rounds tomorrow will be danger zone as we saw with Bishop in round 14 last year.
