If Shaddy stays put, Arkansas would have been national champions. It was Shaddy’s fault 100 percent.

Yep, I caught him in a lie on tardville once and he didn't like it. He was telling probably a whole line of whoppers once and said while Malzahn was at Springdale High, that "Gus Malzahn was offered offensive coordinator at Tulsa under Steve Kragthorpe." in 2005 or 06, or hell, 04 maybe.

I reminded him that Kragthorpe's OC during all that time was Charlie Stubbs, formerly of the Crimson Tide, and that Stubbs was with Kragthorpe the whole time, won a CUSA title with him, and then went to Louisville with him.

Irwin was pissed and some of his hogville mod/admin buddies came in and deleted my post

So you want the second baseman to stand and watch a pop fly over first base Infielders are supposed to go for the ball until they are called off by the outfielder. You clearly have never played the game above the little league level, if at all.

Shaddy took the blame because Eric Cole didn’t call the ball and go make what was a fairly routine play

Thank you! Shaddy has taken the blame this whole time since he was the one closest but if Cole makes a better play on it then we’re not still talking about this 3 years later.

Cole was calling for it, Shaddy was yelling and waving his arms calling everyone off in a full sprint and ran right under the ball. It's water under the bridge now though. Congrats on your professional baseball career.

And not shirked it once. He hasn’t thrown anyone else under the bus.

Whether it was truly the outfielder's call or not, Shaddy blew up the play by being over-aggressive and reckless by going directly into the drop zone. If he's not there, the RF makes the play easily.

But I put more blame on DVH for obviously not drilling that situation. Even now, pop outs into the boundary are still a shite show and aren't caught as easily as they should be or the play isnt made at all.

Never liked him since the Nutt days, his coverage and love of Mustain and hatred for Nutt was clear as day.
