He had two games with significant action last year and didn’t look good in either of them.

He came in for much of the second half against A&M when KJ was injured and didn’t do well, and Burks bailed him out with incredible fingertip catches a few times. He had one good run and one good throw that bounced off Kern’s frying pan hands.

He also played the entire second half against UAPB in Little Rock and looked like dogshit. We were up 45-0 at halftime and didn’t score a point in the second half.

Well, none of that speaks very well for Briles, does it? An offense with a QB that runs 12-15 times per game, and the backup can’t play?

Hate to see him go, just hope he got an honest shot to beat out KJ. If he didn’t get an honest shot at it, he should have transferred out.

If he got an honest shot and couldn't win the job, he needs to be sure to get a degree or change positions.

I distinctly remembering him fumbling and dropping it a few times in the games he had significant action in last year and he did it every time he touched the ball this year.

He is smaller than Bryce Young.

There are a lot of questions from draft experts about Bryce in the NFL now because of size. The last one I heard said Kyler and Tua are giving teams reservations about size.

He seems more like a receiver size wise.
