I honestly don’t know what to think of this TAMU team. They’ve gotten all the hype, but they just haven’t looked good. Maybe they need a chance to gel again after the suspensions are over, but I am not very impressed.

Agreed but the crazy thing is despite sharting the bed all season they still rank like 35th on kenpom
Edit:just looking at their stats, very good defensively.
6th in defensive efficiency. Great rebounders and shot blockers and hold all opponents to really poor shooting nights
Offense on the other hand looks disastrous other than ability to get offensive rebounds
Guess it makes sense...they have 3 6-10 guys and 1 6-9 guy that all play significant minutes

I think they’re hanging their hats on their early season wins against WVU and USC. They also played a tough schedule so I think they have a good RPI.
That being said, league play has been tough for them. We started out rough as well, but I think we might have started to turn the corner (though we still have plenty of room for improvement). Hopefully we catch them in a trough still.

Vandy at home is a lock for a W
Not sure where the other win comes from, probably beat OM in Oxfart.
The next 5 games will show us the real Hog BB team.
5-0 down this tough stretch, then look out in March.

tAMU plays a style of basketball that we seem to do ok against. We can usually speed them up to play faster than they really want to.
