Wouldn't you with the bitch attitude he's had?
Kelley should start the rest of the season.

Why do you think he has that attitude? Oh yeah, because they've been shite the past two years and have let him get pummeled. I'd hate the OL too.

Our OL is butt, but AA takes a lot of avoidable and/or unneeded hits and sacks by holding on to the ball too long. The coaches have said as much even dating to last year.

It's true. I would like to see Kelley start a game and see how the team responds. It really looks like Bert has lost the team, and so has Allen.

Knowing Bert, they'll proclaim that we'll see major depth chart changes this week and that no one's starting job is safe, only to have the exact same two-deep going into Bama with like a switch to the backup punter.

Frick this clown college staff.

I would like to see Kelley start a game, just to see if it makes a difference in the energy level if nothing else. I expect him to make freshman mistakes like staring down that WR on the pick six. Get him out there this year, when there isn't anything at stake and let him get those mistakes out of his system now.

The problem is... there are three good defenses in the SEC right now. Georgia, Bama, and Auburn. We get two of those in the next two weeks.

Do we throw Kelley to the wolves and have him be pounded like cheap veal by the Tide and the War Beagles? Having his first start be against Alabama is a tall order for a redshirt freshman.

To Kelley's credit he's been very vocal in supporting Austin Allen, the kid is doing exactly what he is supposed to do in that situation. He hung zero blame on Allen and took zero credit for his own efforts.

Its easy to see why he's on the honor roll as a student. He's smart enough and loyal enough to back his team and not try to create a controversy. I'm sure he wants to be starting but he's not going to try and undermine Austin to get that job. That is what you want to see from the guy who will almost certainly be the starter next year. The teams seems to like him as well.

He needs to start a game this season, and with the way Austin Allen has been taking a beating its just a matter of time before that happens. But while I hope he sees some action against Bama and Auburn I'd prefer his first start to be against Ole Miss or Coastal Carolina.

I'd like to see Storey get a start also. This season is done anyway. Let Kelley have the OM game, and Storey the Coastal Carolina game.

I'd be fine with throwing Storey out there to absorb a beating from Auburn. At this point I don't think Austin Allen is going to bounce back mentally or physically enough to make it through the season. Might as well get some playing time for everyone else and not drag Allen out there every week to take such a horrible beating.
