Once again, Allen looked really good. I'm not too concerned with the turnovers because he was trying to make something happen and get us back in the game.
Offensive playcalling was very good. Enos was able to work around our OL issues by rolling Austin out a lot. Some of the PA calls were a little questionable considering that Bama had absolutely no respect for our run game. But, all in all, scoring 30 on Alabama is nothing to sneeze at.
I thought our special teams across all facets wasn't bad outside of the Stewart fumble.
We made adjustments at halftime and were able to pull our heads out of our arses. They had 400 (!!!) offensive yards at halftime and only had a little over 100 in the second half.
I was also glad to see us win the coin toss and actually defer.
Anything else?

Enos realized that we needed to be effective in the passing game to set up the run game.

We didn't miss a field goal
Also this. We clearly adapted from what wasn't working in earlier games, especially in short yardage/redzone calls. We didn't just try to pound up the middle from the I every time. We put the ball in Allen's hands, or called delayed handoffs that were pretty effective. Enos is a smart guy. He knows his OL is shite and he's doing everything he can to gain yardage despite that.

Did they mention anything on TV about McFain kicking FG's now instead of Hedlund?

No.
The graphic said Hedlund, the announcer said McFainn.

It was most definitely McFain. I'm was glad to see us try something new there instead of sticking to the same broken formula.

Bert said it was McFain in his post game presser...said he and Hedlund were back and forth all week in ptactice.. Then Tuesday McFain was 4-4, Hedland was 3-4... Apparently Wednesday Hedlund was God awful and McFain wasn't so he got the starting job.

If our offensive line can improve we have the chance to field one of the best offenses in the history of Arkansas football.
We lost, and lost convincingly, but a good amount of that was us shooting ourselves in the dick again. If we can correct the dick shooting we have the potential to win every game left on the schedule.
Unlike quite a few programs out there, and they know who they are, our team didn't slink off and die when we fell way behind in the game. That will pay off when we aren't facing the Alabama juggernaut.
A&M, Bama, and probably Ole Miss seem to be the best of the West (though Ole Miss is prone to complete collapses out of the blue this season) so getting them all in short order isn't exactly the kindest draw. Once we get past Ole Miss though we should be favored or even money in our remaining games.
