The fatal flaw with that novel is that the majority of homeless people don't want help.
They hit the food shelters for food and panhandle or steal for money to get heroin, or whatever their drug of choice is.
They literally think they are living the life and are 'free'.

Cross Church should follow the same zoning and building regulations that everybody else has to follow in Fayetteville. That particular law is a good one and it is in place for a reason.
The entire planning and zoning around Cross Church on Wedington demonstrated an organization that didn't seem interested in being a good neighbor, or abiding by the same laws that everyone else has to abide by in Fayetteville.
They just ignored a city regulation, and I hope the city makes them install different lights. They can afford it.
