That's a false parallel if I've ever seen one. People are blaming Bell and Madden for turning the ball over. No one blames Chaney if Allen fumbles a snap.

Because unlike Chaney, coach anderson has had enough success elsewhere where he has lee way. chaney is 3 and 37 in the SEC lol

Says the man who has, LITERALLY, never said a negative thing about him. Never.

I can list negative things that Greg fricking Popovich does. But you and Mike? Never. You see ONLY good. And you are biased due to your relationship with him/some other coach (I guessed TJ last season).

I can list some nice things that Mike does. But what good does that do other than hide your sensibilities from reality? If there's ANYTHING that's needed with this program, it's people acknowledging the weaknesses instead of accentuating the positives. We aren't good enough to have that mindset. Not even close.

Sorry I care more about our basketball program than "betraying" some friends in the program.

It's funny that you think everyone that likes Mike Anderson is somehow related to him.

What, exactly, IS MA responsible for?

Well, in a short time we've gone from chalking up road games as Ls to now expecting to get Ws. Thats a big difference from the last 10 years of arkansas basketball.

It's on the players to execute, not the coach.

It's on the coaching staff to have the players prepared.

I think your problem, in regards to this game, is that you're only focused on what happened in the last minute of regulation. I'm upset about that, sure. But we wouldn't have had to worry about it at all if we weren't so terribly prepared with such inconsistent performance throughout the game.

Completely ignore offense. Our defense is terrible. You don't even need talent to be a great defensive team, within reason. But Mike does nothing to take the pressure OFF of the D. He preaches ball pressure on guards 30+ feet from the basket. Guard beats the first defender, defense collapses, opposition gets wide open shot. Rinse & repeat. This has been an obvious takeaway from the last 2 games. I'd be more encouraged about our coach if he could see how stupid of a strategy this is, particularly in college basketball.

That entire first half was a complete joke. Offensively, defensively.

And that is ALL coaching.

I never said that. But it's obvious to me, and anyone else that's paying attention, that you and Dale both have relationships (by blood or friendship) to people in the program.

But please, deny it. You never did last season and neither did Dale. I always took that to mean that you were at least man enough not to want to be a liar, so you just ignored.

I'm just tired of our so called "veterans" playing like pussies when the game gets tough.

We need a confident pg and just smarter players all around. Too many boneheaded plays.

So I guess that no NBA coach should ever be fired. In college, at least the coach has autonomy to choose his players. In the NBA, a coach doesn't even have the say on who his players are (GM, owners). So, in your opinion, has every firing of an NBA coach in history been a travesty? It wasn't their fault. Their players failed to execute.

This is a much better straw man than the one you were putting together earlier.

Bravo.

Still waiting for you to say ANYTHING negative about Mike.

If only Mike had better prepared Bell, he would have known that Clemson was wearing white jerseys and he shouldn't give them the ball.

Why do we even need coaches? We don't have plays (as Dale has so artfully insisted). Lets just hire an extra recruiter. Since it's all on the players and coaches have nothing to do with the outcome, frick - why are we even paying one?

Mike is now 7-34 in road games at Arkansas, but it's okay because it's the players fault.
