Again, this isn't a debate. It doesn't matter which stadium is louder or has more history. I know all about the history. My family as gone to many a Little Rock game. The bottom line is that the school should play as many football games on campus as possible for recruiting and monetary purposes. Period.

No debate...just pointing out that one of our players parents wishes Fayetteville could be more like Little Rock.

He wasn't here for the 2010 Bama game or the 2016 game vs. Ole Miss when the stadium was shaking. Fayetteville has been MUCH louder than little rock.

Oh.... here is another tweet about WMS by Devwah's uncle:

All of the injuries tonight were the result of the horrible field conditions. When Boyd was slammed to the cement and when Devwah foot got caught in the turf/cement and was landed on and Ty’s head bounced 6 inches in the air after landing on the cement.Time to stop playing there

The WMS field condition has caused numerous injuries in recent years. I’m surprised they haven’t got a lawsuit with it being cement.

One of the key factors in continuing to play was suppose to be fixing the surface and upgrading everything to basic SEC standards. None of that happened before last night.

I'm not sure what the timeframe is for them to get the turf replaced but it's in the contract.

Funny thing is that there are people who think the Razorback should foot the bill. It's the state's responsibility not the Razorbacks to keep wms up to snuff.

I saw some media member last night on Twitter say that they were told that it would be replaced by next season.

it has to be done prior to the mizzou game next season...

along with several other updates.

I am NOT attempting to say the games need to stay in LR, but I enjoyed the rainy, cold experience last night. It was fun, until the end...

It’s sad that the NWA folks can only come up with 2 games to defend the horrible in game and tailgating atmosphere they have.

Also, the #1 team in the nation was just there and y’all could only get 49,000 people to show up

I'm not even upset about the loss. I expected to lose this game. What Devwah's uncle said is what has me upset. That dogshit facility should never host an SEC game.

The replies to Devwah's uncle from Little Rock fans (not going to call them Hog fans) is a sad sight.

You don't hear anyone in Alabama whining about not playing at Legion field. If playing home games at home (in a nice fricking stadium) makes certain fans take their ball and go home then they are some sad, fair weather fans.

There were more than 49k there and everyone who was there knows that.

Judging by the empty benches and the sheer number of Ole Miss fans making noise, I can only assume there were 35k fans at WMS on Saturday.

recruiting

Coming from someone that wants all of the games on campus, this is a bull shite reason going forward. The remaining games will all be played on Thanksgiving weekend when the campus is dead. Do you really think a game every other year, on thanksgiving, is going to impact recruiting?

That was the best home crowd that Arkansas will play in front of this year. Admitting it doesn’t mean that games should be played there.

You are worse than Dale. The turf is being replaced in 2019. It was part of the new agreement. Here is a list of schools that have used the exact same surface

LINK

The school is in Fayetteville, it’s easy to get there now, so all of the home games (including A&M) need to be there. That’s enough of a reason. All of these other reasons just make the people that are on the right side of the argument look dumb. The contract is done, games will remain there until it runs out. It’s stupid to complain about it. Save this shite for when this contract is about to expire.

If LSU is a night game, this won't be true.
