Senior Jared Cornelius and sophomore T.J. Hammonds will be game-time decisions for Arkansas’ season opener Thursday against Florida A&M.

Both receivers practiced in green non-contact jerseys Monday and are working their way back from injuries. Cornelius missed fall camp with a back injury, while Hammonds is coming back from a knee injury.

“I bet you it’ll go all the way to game time, ‘till kick off,” receivers coach Michael Smith said. “I know we’re going to put (Cornelius) out there in warmups, see how he feels and if he’s good to go, I’m sure coach (Bret Bielema) will make the call to let him go. … Same thing (with Hammonds). If they’re feeling good, we’re going to let them go.”

Without the duo, Arkansas has a group of at least five receivers ready to play, including sophomores Deon Stewart and La’Michael Pettway and redshirt freshman Jordan Jones.

“Those three and Jonathan Nance will be in that mix,” Smith said. “Brandon (Martin’s) had a really good week of practice, so he’s coming along and put himself in a position to get out there.”

Most of those names have made their share of plays in fall camp and been regulars in the rotation, but Martin has had to deal with a back issue. The No. 1 junior college receiver recruit in the 2017 class was limited in camp and fell behind as a result, but may be catching up. Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 219 pounds, he may be the most physically imposing receiver on the roster.

I don't mean this petty like since others are suffering but don't rain us out. Please.

Please let that happen. Just for pure entertainment purposes (i.e. GSD)

I'd love that. I have an irrational feeling that UA folks were hoping for a terrible turnout to justify moving next year's SEC game to Fayetteville and pulling out of LR a year early.

So, on the interstate about 30 minutes ago I passed a hog bus- fancy schmancy as far as busses go. They were headed east around Atkins which is logical but I swear I think it had a Tennessee license plate.. Am I crazy?

Well, to think about this for a minute... You posted gibberish the other night and claimed it wasn't you...

You then apologized for the gibberish claiming intoxication...

And now you are seeing things....

So, my conclusions is...

Why yes, you are absolutely nuts. Glad to help!

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —

In order to tackle traffic challenges ahead of the first Razorback game of the year, Arkansas troopers are implementing game day changes at major intersections along Interstate 630.

The first game will take place Thursday at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

Traffic changes will begin at 3 p.m.

State Police say:

• Traffic will be blocked from entering the westbound on-ramp of I-630 at the Pine/Cedar interchange. Pine and Cedar Streets (north) will be used by drivers who are exiting the interstate and looking to access stadium or nearby parking.

• The northern-most lane of I-630 westbound from Pine/Cedar going west to Fair Park will be restricted for use by traffic destined for stadium area parking only.

• The eastbound exit ramp from I-630 onto Fair Park will be closed.

Drivers should also expect a heavy volume of traffic along Interstates 30 and 430 and on Markham Street between downtown and Rodney Parham Road.
