Is Dustin Fry actually a good coach?

He’s working with dogshit and that unit has made big strides the last few weeks. Recruiting is still a question but perhaps he can actually coach a little?

Walking out of the stadium today I told the guys who came with me that three or so weeks ago our weakest link was the OL. Not so now. Been very impressed with the strides the patchwork of an OL has made.
We need a QB in the worst way. Some of the play design today was incredible IMO. We just need more men on the defensive front and a solid QB.

He is what he is. There is a reason Enos had him riding the bench and as we saw today, Enos can get pretty decent QB play.
Storey is a kid that stayed with the program when he probably should have left. We are starting him because we don't want our blue chip prospect to trot out there and take a horrible beating.
He isn't the QB we want, or the QB we need, but he's the QB we have.

Storey made some good throws and I appreciate the effort he puts out and improvement he’s made; but he’s not making any plays to win us a game or throws that any other QB in the SEC couldn’t make.
However BA was terrible his first season or two. Like just costing us games terrible and he ended up having maybe one of the best seasons in program history his senior year. Not sure if Storey can make that kind of leap but it has been done.

No. Dustin Fry sucks and our O Line took even more injury hits today. We have to continue to get the ball out of Ty's hands to get these winnable games.

He’s not a running QB but has to be to get the most out of this offensive system. Don’t like running him inside the 10 anyway when Kelley has been pretty effective with that but I guess you can’t telegraph it every time.

I didn't like that he coughed up the ball, twice, but he made some good throws. Ty's biggest problem is he's not a deep ball threat.
As of now he's our best option, and our offense continues to improve due to QB stability. Sure, QB play could improve but he's only started 3 games and he's working with a noodle arm.
Of course, Chad could just put in Machine Gun Kelley...and we all know how that would turn out.
As to Fry, our Oline seems to be getting better (a little bit), but damn...the guy just can't recruit.
