1. Billy Donovan offer him 5 mil

2. Buzz Williams

3. Chris Beard

4. Eric Mussleman

I support this list.

I don't think Beard would jump though.

What are Williams and Mussellman making?

Am I crazy thinking Kelvin Sampson could win here? Cheatin’ and all?

Alleged. But yea, bring him on. He's been good everywhere minus some infractions but whatever at this point. It's the status quo and basketball.

And meant to address your point on Mike and being proven. I agree. Basically, I just want to make sure Beard can recruit at a high level year after year.

We desperately need that.

doubt Buzz would leave right as hes getting Tech going, worth a shot tho.

Oats and Musselman are going to be 2 of the hottest names out there, Musselman is in line to get a big pay day. would take a strong pitch.

was just looking up coaching salaries and saw Ohio St is paying Holtmann $7.15 million/yr. wtf. guess it pays to be the guy after the guy sometimes. was worried about Oats being in the same situation at Buffalo. not so sure about that tho. Hurley hasnt done a whole lot.

Buzz Williams once emailed me back.

I probably jinxed that hire.

Screw that guy. He left OSU high and dry more money and a shittier job because OSU wouldn’t bow down to him after one season. He is a definite flight risk.

I’m just not a big fan like I once was. They’re getting beat pretty bad and his program seems to be in a downturn right now. I think Marshall missed the boat on his big pay day.

And thank God that we didn't give it to him like a ton of the fans wanted to

Yea he's only won 25+ games like 15 years straight or something.

He's having a down year but it happens at a place like Wichita State.

Sampson comes with serious baggage.... serious, serious.... but I do think he could win.

I really wanted us to go after Shaka Smart a few years back.... still wouldn't hate that idea but I doubt he'd jump from Texas.

My thing with White at FLA is that he's been in Donovan's shadow since he got there. Florida likes to talk basketball but they really don't support it. I think he would come for a chance to make his own mark and get out of Billy the Kid's shadow.
He's done well there and did well at Tech before that.

If Marshall is interested I say throw the money at him and let's roll.

I think the shine has certainly worn off a bit. Still a good coach, but I would be curious about recruiting at this level.

The guy is making far too much money to be middle of the pack in the AAC. Not sure that move has panned out quite like they thought. Although they did finish tied for 2nd in the league last year.
