My girlfriend senior year went to Elkins. She was hot. That’s all I’ve got for the city.

ETA: My first ever t-ball game and win was at Elkins. The beginning of an illustrious career in elementary school.

Not saying I want the housing market to crash, but would love to get some more land and a bigger house for under $750k

On a smaller scale, but Jonesboro and NEA are seeing a similar boom.

If a crash happens, they’ll feel it up there more than NWA, but it won’t be as bad as nationally.

There’s only so much land on the ridge to build on.

Most of Arkansas will barely notice. We will probably hold steady worst case. The major metros in AZ, CA, and TX along with some of the very overpriced places like Denver and it's suburbs will get wrecked. I could see us actually getting a boost because even with how crazy it has gotten here we are still one of the most beautiful and affordable places to live in the country.
I'd wager on this happening. I give fence estimates to new homeowners moving to the area from Cali at least once every two weeks and that's been going on for almost two years now. They're flooding here and we're just a little city generously listed at 12,000 pop.

Hopefully your little town passes an ordinance barring the virus that is California from infecting your area.

From what I can tell it's mostly conservative/libertarian types that just want to be left alone. Some of them are going as far as to start personal gardens and raising chickens. Seem like good folk. I'd much rather hang out with them than the green haired hippos walking around the campus in town.
