If the football gods have their way we will beat Missouri today. Why?

The rare opportunity to torment the two teams they hate the most with one game. We'd have a big reason to keep a coach that doesn't seem up to the job and it would spoil what has been a fantastic season for Missouri. Double the misery in one fell swoop!

Please don’t presume to know the ways of the sports gods in this sacred thread

Basketball. The Football game is going to make me mad no matter what happens. If we win, it just shows how much we squandered this year.

If we lose, we are bringing back a 4-8 lame duck coach with a strong possibility of a shite show Morris type year that will push fan support to critically low levels.

We lose them all except maybe volleyball or women's basketball.

Men's basketball staring at 4-4 record for Nov with UNC and Duke back to back an no really noteworthy wins to help the resume.
