If Rumors Are True v BoB/Briles/Saban

I seriously doubt LSU hires O’Brien and even if he left for another job, I don’t see Saban going towards the “Baylor offense”. His hires are usually guys connected to he or Belichick in one form or another.

And the offense hasn’t exactly sputtered. It’s third in the country PPG. It’s top ten in total offense. And leads the country in third down conversion. Not too bad considering what was replaced off last year’s team.

It does have a tendency to have issues in the red zone. The OL injuries and inconsistencies have made the running game and pass protection a whirlwind at times too.
