Folks want to blame Pittman, because otherwise we have to sit down and admit that Petrino hasn't called a good game since Okie Light... and recent evidence has shown that they suck the meat missile on defense.
Am I saying that Pittman is great? No. But I am definitely saying that Petrino isn't great anymore either. Are we better on offensive than we were last year? Yes. But we aren't good. And a large part of that falls on Petrino's shoulders.
Butbutbut it is the offensive line's fault! Well then don't call plays that leaves them hanging out to dry. Plus Petrino has repeatedly called plays leaving an open blitzer or lineman free to roam in our backfield. He did that the first time around here, but we don't have an NFL level QB to make teams pay.
Hell, we'd probably do better if we kidnapped the Army OC and ran the flexbone from here on out. At least then we would know what the frick we want to do on offense.

We did multiple times. They moved the ball on their last drive by running it. We were worn down

I’m sorry our defense allowed a late score…I guess?
Our offense scored 3 points after the 4:50 mark of the 1st quarter.
I guess that’s acceptable now?

Lack of ball security lost this game for us. The defense also couldn't protect a LEAD in the 4th quarter. Both are true. One doesn't negate the other. Y'all may want to cherry pick what you didn't like, but I'm gonna talk about all of it.
