Yeah I'm rewatching the game right now and just got to that part. Chad is clearly saying "We gotta punt, we gotta punt" into his headset.
Sometimes you need a player willing to correct a coach when they have read the field wrong.

The crowd was booing very loudly, that and the punt team getting on the field late led to a burnt time out.
After not only giving everyone flashbacks to last year, most probably remembering Chad's public regret about not being more aggressive, and burning a time out in what was then a close game against momentum, you have to go for it, right?
I recommend anyone who actually attends the games or those who drink heavily during the live broadcast to record and rewatch on Sundays listening to the announcer commentary very closely. They parrot what they are told by the staff before the game, it gives you an idea of the narrative the coaching staff is trying to create, when the tone changes to that of the university over the coach you know a change is about to take place.
The only thing really taken away is Chad is trying to put Starkel not being the starter to (1) he wasn't ready mentally week 1 due to personal issues and (2) he only knows 25-30% of the play book. It may sound like a valid justification, it isn't really when Stark still looked better than "100%" of the playbook week 1- first half of ole miss or all of last season and was more effective at moving the ball and putting up points than the any game up to this point.
I wish Chad would drop the whole "offensive genius" moniker he's trying to give himself, Gus did the same shite while he was here in this state. Most fans I believe have caught on to the truth about these systems and it isn't as simple as out smarting the opponents with X's and O's to the point Jimmies and Joes don't matter or Chad wouldn't went 2-10 and Gus wouldn't average 8-5. But Muh Clemson.

Defense is the same as it was at Tennessee 2003-2007, LSU, and aTm.
Defense could be adequate enough if they continue to force turnovers and even better if they continue to put points on the board.
We aren't trying to be Bama, LSU, Auburn, or UGA, we are trying to bring big 12 football to the SEC, which will only work if the offense can put points up on the board.

Link to where he has ever done this except for in your head, that doesn’t count

Go watch his initial press conference here where he's went on and on about having to reduce the playbook and only use portions of his playbook depending on the talent he had available in HS and in College.
His playbook is so vast and smart he's use to having to dumb it down, he's done this his whole career, according to him.

Considering Bielema’s offense could’ve been run by 1st graders I don’t think it’s much of a surprise that players had a tougher time picking up Morris’ offense

Yet statistically, the best QB in program history came out of that offense
Posted on 9/15/19 at 9:05 pm to Latarian
So it wasn't Bert's offense
Posted on 9/15/19 at 10:04 pm to cubsfan5150
Bert doesn't have an offense

Dan Enos is a great QB coach, he’s not a great offensive coordinator. It was Bert’s offense.

I remember a Clemson fan came onto tardville after we hired him, and he said Chad has over 700 plays in his playbook. Its massive. When he left. They took 75 plays, and called it a day. Now they have added on to it since then, but chad's is some crazy behemoth apparently.

Fixing Bert’s offense doesn’t make him a great OC, he’s fine but I think a lot of our fans overrated him
