I think it’s absurd, but these recruits want to take all the pictures and look special, like it’s a wedding or prom.

Somebody needs to be fired. They either have no business sense or grossly overpaid a friend.

There ain’t $5k worth of balloons, letters, and labor there.

Maybe if we quit pissing away money on stuff we could afford the 200k LED stadium light upgrade.

Upgrading the stadium lights only makes sense if you are planning on playing night games.

Arkansas played zero night games at home this past season.

I'm assuming they got more than what we see in that picture. Surely there were lots of events that had balloons, right?

I think that $36,000 for balloons in a fiscal year is reasonable for a university of 35,000 students. Their operating budget for FY2026 was $540 million. 36k is nothing

Even if it's specifically the football program spending $36k... still seems like small potatoes

Strangely enough my wife was just educating me last night on how much balloons cost. She bought two bundles of regular balloons and two of the shiny balloons all filled with helium for my son’s birthday and spent a little over $100 for them. I now would agree that $36k honestly isn’t that much.

You obviously didn’t look at the lady who did sorority rows Instagram, and how much she charged them.

And people are stupid for paying her that much, but comparing the common sense of a 20 yr old sorority girl and our Athletic Department sums up where we are as a University.

After consideration, I think we actually need to up our game.

It’s part of improving our game day & in-game experience imo. We need to be spending more.

Mr. President, we must not allow a balloon-spending gap!
