How much does one have to donate to become part of the GOBN?

I don't think annual donations get you into the GOBN. I believe you have to call up and say something like I've got the 10 million needed for the buyout. Or maybe say something like I've got 15 million for stadium improvements if you hire this certain coach.

The main thing is that all donations have to come with strings.. because they're not donations, they're purchases of favors.

Money = leverage.
I keep seeing this "million dollars" figure thrown around in here. "My client donates a million bucks" or whatever.
Believe me, if someone actually donates a million bucks to the university, they have just bought leverage.
Of course there are other ways to peddle leverage to the university, but big money is certainly one way.
