Beat ya to the punch, man. I told this board like a week ago that I was already anti whoever it is we hire next. So I can win some arguments in a couple of years. I was the first to hate the next coach.

If he’s an Aggie with eyes too close together and a dog shite record as a head coach, yea, a lot of people are likely not going to be thrilled.

It will be 2 full seasons before the hate for his replacement gets strong. Then it's Katy bar the door.
Nobody is going to be able to fix this in 2 years.
And I will add appropriate blame on the players. IF they gave a damn, they could have beaten WKU without even having a coach at the game.

There are some coaching hires that would be exceedingly stupid.
#1: Hugh Freeze: It would be an utterly Arkansas thing to fire Bret Bielema in order to hire the worst coach in Arkansas History and then replace him with a guy who has a losing record in the SEC to Bret Bielema. A guy who is coaching at Liberty.. which isn't even a real college.. and who likes to hire prostitutes for himself, his players.. and do it on a University issued phone.
#2: Art Briles: We're about to fire a high school coach.. and replacing him with another high school coach who has more baggage than 787 and who would be 64 years old before he ever coached a single game at Arkansas is planning for failure.
Everyone is fricking obsessed with getting a "proven" guy. You know what? Danny fricking Ford was a "proven" guy. Get a young talented coach who might actually stick around a few years and have a shot to win some fricking games.
Norvell is a good idea. Drinkwitz is a good idea. Other coached under the age of 45 who might be coordinators but who are innovative or head coaches who don't have losing records are a good idea. Will they work out for sure? No idea. That's not how the universe works. For Arkansas to regain respectability and perhaps even become relevant again, chances must be taken.

I'll hate any coach who goes 0-14 in the sec. Simple as that. Put it on my tombstone and I won't apologize for it. It's unacceptable

Already hate him and I'm gonna talk about how "my guy" would have been better the whole time he's here while simultaneously fitting in non-football related insults at said coach because I have no actual understanding of the sport.
