I think people are forgetting that we didn't want Nutt gone just for underperforming. He's remembered as a "used car salesman" for a reason. His own self-serving actions cost the special talent on the 2006 and 2007 team implications for hardware.

The remembering of the past with the haze of a Willie Nelson concert is really prevalent in Arkansas forums.

Losing at an unprecedented and extended rate will do that to you, I guess.

I'd rather rot in football purgatory than retread Houston Nutt.

You mean you don't want a guy who had a family friend threaten his players?

A guy who was so committed to being in charge that he undermined a play caller then ran him off.

Stuck with the same shitty DC because his coaching network wasn't deep.

"I called that play brotha"
"People heppin bidness."

frick Nutt, frick that whole family.

I'd rather bring in DMC and just have him sell the University to Arkansas kids.

hey now........ you're talking about a REAL RAZORBACK

shhh......... don't mention that fact that he ran off like a coward to Oklahoma State because he couldn't cut it here as a Razorback.

NWA has the COG (cult of Gus) and little rock has the Nutthouse Members. Both of them can go frick themselves. Both of those coaches are self loving assholes who people think are Razorbacks despite them quitting and graduating from other programs (Gus is a Reddie).

If Nutt were hired as a position coach, he'd spend his time trying to undermine Pittman and, unfortunately, he still has enough support in the state that he might get away with it. Imagine Pittman trying to fire Nutt when Nutt doesn't want to be fired.

No thank you. It wouldn't be fair to Pittman.

there are people who want to build a statue of Nutt and put it next to Frank Broyles - not a lot but more than one is enough.

I wish I was lying

tweet: "Would you be in support of an on campus statue of Houston Nutt? (I for one think he is deserving) #WPS"

I'd take Nutt as our AD to be honest.
