Recruiting at DB is the biggest reason we lost. Just not enough speed.

He is a senior, so he gone. But we still have that white walk on cornerback they put on scholarship, and who has been starting.

I would argue Clark has been better than Bishop this year. He gets a lot of flack but his tackling over the last month was 10x better. Honestly not sure how Bishop keeps starting, rarely see him do anything well.

Clark and Blair are quality depth for where our roster is.

I like having his speed out there. I think blown safety help made Bishop look worse than he is vs Bama

He's a cornerback they don't throw at and when they do he makes plays on the ball. He's had a pretty good year from what I've seen. Nothing record setting but solid for us.

I mean it's Bama with great receivers so I'm trying not to be too hard on him but he was just flat out bad at the LOS and let receivers run free all game without putting a hand on them. And all I can remember against Mississippi State was him getting trucked 5 yards backwards and giving up a first down to a RB with very little effort.
Just not physical enough for me. Clark gives up some big plays too but lately when he has a player in the open field they go down.
Truthfully we probably need to look for an upgrade in the portal either way.

Can Clark gain weight? He could be a better faster linebacker than he is a CB/Safety.

However I looked up Hudson Clark and Bumper Pool’s weights and Clark would need to gain 50 lbs and then he would just be a slow linebacker.
