Bert kept hogging all the Caseys pizza, Pittman had to move on to a smaller head coach

I always found it curious when people were trashing him when he left. He is a great recruiter/coach

Our O line took a gigantic nose dive when he left.
Talent and technique.
Talent and technique.

Wasn't lazy enough for Bret. Needed someone who he could sit around and be fat with.

Bielema ran Chaney off, Pittman toddled along behind him. I'm pretty sure Bielema went to extreme measures to keep Pittman, didn't he?

Bielema ran him self off. I don't know if Bert and run is even possible though.

I remember the OL interviews after Anderson started working with them that they all said he was teaching them a completely different technique. Let’s not ever do that again.

But....but he was a NFL(assistant) Oline Coach

I think Pittman kept it a little simpler in terms of concept. The few times we have brought in a coach that with complicated schemes, that I remember, it has ended in failure (Petrino offense excluded since all practice time was devoted to rhythm and timing of the offense).
I believe that was Chris Ash's biggest issue. Simplify your terminology and schemes a bit and let the guys play like their asses are on fire. Better yet instead of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches we should do the One Chip Challenge at halftime and quite literally light their assholes on fire.

I was pissed we lost Pittman. Chaney, not so much.
