It seems that someone must have gotten in the ears of coach Morris about his defense getting wore down. At times he's letting the play clock go down on offense. Maybe that will pay off at the end of some game. I doubt it will matter much in this one. His odd play calling is still a problem. Burks at QB and that awful fake punt being examples. It only took him two seasons to figure out that he has no depth on defense though.

I can only give Morris credit for absolutely sucking as a coach. I find nothing else redeemable at this point in time....

I’m seeing elsewhere that Chad’s taken over play calling at some point during the game. I wonder if there is any truth to that. I’m watching the game with the sound off so have the announcers said anything about it?

was this after the fake punt granny shot pass, the RB being knocked silly by his own team mate, or something else?

Our punter and kicker are pretty awesome though

To give credit where it is due, he's run some read option today where the QB keeps it. He's thrown screen passes. We've had running plays that are HB dives.

Unfortunately we still aren't executing those plays worth a darn and when we do we inevitably shoot ourselves in the dick with a bad play call.

Special teams do look great since Lunney took over.

This offense has absolutely no consistency, more often than not they look lost and have trouble even lining up right. This is bad coaching. Even if you are outmanned the offense should have some continuity. Execution is terrible, but the play calling is worse. Chad may be t the worst coach in our history.

Consider that only one other coach only won 2 games in a season as head coach. That coach was barely able to field enough players to have a team during World War II. Chad is just bad.

Put a fork in Morris. He is done.

I can’t find anything positive about Razorback football. We have a couple of good receivers, who will get the hell out of Dodge if they have any brains at all. There has been no tangible improvement in any facet of our football program since Morris was hired. None. Yurachek has to make the call. If not, we not only be the worst team in the SEC, we will be among the worst football teams in the country.

Yeah but if he had figured out the depth issue on defense earlier in the season he might have been able to close out a couple of games earlier this year. Having said that its past time to cut bait and move on from Chaz. Only Arkansas would hire a 14-22 coach.

One could write a book about the things Chad Morris hasn’t figured out about football. What’s sad is that the PTB hired him, not having figured out that Morris is in no way a P5 football coach.

Burks played QB in highschool and can throw it 70 yards. He is actually accurate for the most part.

I've been wanting him to play some in the redzone for a while. We didnt do it enough, and ran stupid plays when we did.

It would be amazing how much less he sucked if we had a half full deck of SEC level players, especially in the O Line.
Not enough Jimmys and Joes, can't do a lot with the X's and O's.

Bottom line, we have improved our roster some from last year, but not near enough.

look man, I just can't continue supporting this product, with this coaching staff in any form or fashion at this time.

We should have won at least 2 games we lost... the playing calling is atrocious, and he doesn't seem to tailor the offense to the few strengths he has. Even the trick plays look comedic in value.

Attention to detail is nowhere to be seen, but he is full of platitudes and coach speak.

We have decommits, players hitting the transfer portal, and look at our wonderful Oline recruiting, geeze… this is terrible

I will say, to give the dumbass his due, that I did agree with the decision not to throw KJ or even Jones to the wolves and put one of them in late in the game.

Why let the stink splash on those guys?

The final 4 games of the season I'd put them in where and when I could however, you might as well get them some reps in a dead season.

At this point I'm not sure you put Starkel back out there unless you have to. His confidence is shaky enough and I don't see this staff coaching him back up. I think he can be salvaged, just not by the guys we have now.

It was another bad loss in another bad season. There really isn't that much to say about it other then we were awful yet again.

You don't have to, Rev.
But until we get an oline that can mostly win their individual battles, or at least hold it to a draw, we're just not going to have much success. It won't matter much who the coach is.

I thought hicks had enough time to throw. He just has this God awful slow wind up that gets his balls batted down, and stripped from him. Someone with a quicker release would have gotten the balls out on time.

I hear KJ's biggest issue is accuracy, and he HAD a hitch in his throwing motion. I heard they worked on it, and it is better. I am still for him, and JSJ getting their shot at the end of the season.
