Not a shock Hogs freshman wing Jordan Phillips announced intentions to transfer. He missed most of the preseason & a few gms early recovering from injuires & had not been able to crack Top 9 rotation ... opens scholly now for Justice Hill, Javon Franklin now front-&-center in '19

When we finally get a big guard, he leaves. Go figure.

He sucks massive monkey balls. He can’t shoot, can’t dribble and he had to give his first born for us to offer in the first place

Making room for Justice Hill’s midterm scholarship.

The 5-9 guard to the rescue.

I'd rather have Hill's athleticism right now tbh.

Who really knows what we will get but we need someone behind Harris. Sills handles the ball alot when Harris is out but doesn't feel like that is really his spot.

Seems like weird timing, not sure why he wouldn't just wait til the season is over.

You want a kid that is not in shape to burn the second semester of his senior year and play now?

Well, I'm not really sure who would be better in that spot for us right now so probably doesn't matter

We need Harris to just play 40 mins/game imo.

He would only need to play 2-4 mins a game to fill the hole of Phillips, I think he is in shape enough for that.

Phillips was still working his way into shape as well because he couldn't play at the start of the season.

New semester hasn't started yet. Through some weird loophole he gets to play in the fall for his new team. That's the logic behind the decision.

He came straight from football, he is not in basketball shape. Of course you are the expert that wouldn’t listen to those of us that said that Ethan Henderson would not be much of a contributor this year

So you want him to burn the second semester of his senior year to play 2-4 minutes a game for a team that is not going to make the NCAA tournament

I don't care either way. He shouldn't have a huge impact on the season in the same way Phillips wasn't planning to be, why do you place such a huge value on burning his second semester? I would still want him here if he plays zero mins.

If he wants to play and can contribute, let him make his own decision.

Only him and the staff know how he is performing in practice.

Sure, I would never argue against that. My point wasn't even that he should play this year. I only brought up the mins because its not like he would need to be in some crazy shape to be a net positive/neutral over Phillips at the moment.

Even if he doesn't play, our rotation is not going to change much at all without Phillips. It hurts a little depth wise but hopefully we don't have any serious injuries.
