I think our talent pool will be much bigger this time around, mainly because we have a permanent AD in place. In hindsight it was foolish to try and hire a head coach before an AD.

The plan was to hire Gus and let him name his AD.

Well if you can’t hire a guy who can name his boss I guess we can go ahead and write him off again this time around

That was part of the offer package, guaranteed years, guaranteed money, etc.

Gus was never interested in coming to Arkansas after 2008, only then because he saw it as Chad Morris type of opportunity to take over a program you are no way qualified to take over at that time.

Basically Arkansas has been below Gus since he's been an OC at Auburn. Now if Auburn was to fire him this year, yeah Arkansas would be his first call.

We are like the somewhat cute fat slumpbuster to him, in his phone for when things get really bad.

We tried to hire Gus last time and ended up with Chad. I'm not sure which was worse.

Before that,we tried to hire Miles and got Bielema, who only looked good on paper.

Oh and I forgot all about Smiley in between. There's a part of me that believes we have people trying to destroy Arkansas football, because I'm not sure how else you can justify such incompetence.
