Might be a blessing in disguise. I feel as if they're putting on personal tryouts for the NBA at the moment and lost a lot of their "team" concepts.
I agree, but it will definitely hurt our scoring. Tough to replace two guys like that.

Anderson better make the tourney this year...

Loses to Kentucky, Bama, Auburn and Mizzou puts us at 8-10
Not good enough to make the tourney unless we win the SEC Tourney

Folks, let's put aside our like or dislike of Mike Anderson.
Let's put aside any excuses we can think of.
Mike Anderson has been paid for 7 years by the University of Arkansas to produce a winning basketball team, or at least I hope that's what I hope the expectations were.
I know that my expectations have not been met, and I don't think my expectations are unreasonable. A basketball program can be improved tremendously in 2, 3 seasons max. I haven't seen it.
How many here can honestly say that they are happy where the basketball program is today, and how it's been the previous 6 years?
And what bonehead decided that things are going so well that Anderson deserved a contract extension?

Could be the fact that he's regularly selling out a 19,000 seat arena.

That's the only thing that matters anymore, apparently.

If winning mattered in Arkansas sports we wouldn't still be in the SEC.

Can't wait. Gafford could be better than Portis. Higher motor and more athletic.

Hate that we blew those games against LSU and really wish we'd lock it down better on defense but the rotations are starting to work well.
Could have won the league without those 3 turd stain losses.

I wish we had the state game back.

You're such a sun shine pumper it makes me puke. What's regular to you? Once, twice out of 90 games lol

There was a ton of empty seats at the Auburn game, as in thousands

The fact of the matter is that we sold out multiple (more than one or two) games this season.
Also, there is a difference between selling out and filling out. Filling out helps out the atmosphere but selling out makes money. Of course you can't fill out the arena unless you sell out.
