Today’s loss is on the poor arse hitting or lack thereof.

That and errors have kicked our arse all year especially on the road.

That being said we’re probably a top 8 seed with our RPI.

Should’ve won the west but WTH, take care of biz at Baum and Omaha bound.

I’ll take that over the shitty football and basketball product from the U of A all day.

NO.... you are quite evident that this is false.

Let's take this time to reflect on our wonderful fans.

Fans like you and the one's above don't deserve any success at all. You are the bad luck and stain on this program.

Thankfully, the real fans attend the games SO if you want avoid crappy fans then just go to games.

Funny enough, the crappy fans will be begging for tickets and try to go to their first game the time regionals roll around.

In that situation with the bottom of our order coming up you send the runner there every time.

Make the defense make a play, LF made a great throw and catcher made a play holding on to the ball. That’s how baseball goes sometimes

ESPECIALLY with Gates coming up to bat. The loss falls on the bats overall but Shaddy has to get contact in that situation (no outs - man on 3rd).

Also, Evan Lee might be more of a LOOGY (Left-handed One Out Guy). We probably should have went straight to Campbell after Lee got that big out in the bottom of the 5th.

Overall, pitching was pretty good today. I feel good if we get a consistent outing from Ramage/Campbell. The biggest loss this season - pitching wise - was Kevin Kopps in the preseason. I know everyone thinks about McKinney but Kopps was showing to be a pretty reliable arm last season.

Today's loss came down to coaching, shallow fly to left and he sends the runner home? Does DVH watch film of or even scout his opponents?

You just don’t understand the game.

Nope. He just enjoys us losing.

Most teams brag about having the greatest or largest fanbase.

We have by far the greatest and largest anti hog fans who only show up to celebrate losses.

I know people like to shite on the hogs after a loss but our road schedule this season was tough. Think about this.... there will be at least 3 (possibly 4) national seeds in the SEC. We played 3 of them.... on the road.

The only real bad road series loss was the Mississippi State sweep and the series they are playing vs. Florida is proving that the bulldogs are a tough out at home.

Also, Texass just won the big12 title. We swept Texas at home. That's pretty good for a bunch of "pathetic, mediocre loosers" (quoted from our twitter fans).

This team is almost unbeatable at Baum and struggle so bad on the road. It leaves me amazed that we didn't win one road series. We were really close to winning at UF, at OM, and at UGA. Almost seems like we're snakebit away from home. Hopefully we remain a top 8 and play at Baum all the way to Omaha. This team is due for some wins in the road.

WOW.

I didn't think good teams got swept in starkville but miss state just swept the Gators.

13-6 final score

Let’s be honest with ourselves now, Florida had and has absolutely nothing to play for until regionals start. They clinched the SEC overall last weekend and it outright when Arkansas lost on Friday. Had we swept Georgia we were the only ones that could’ve tied them for co-SEC overall champs.

Hogs are 4 seed in Hoover and play the very late game Wednesday against the winner of 5 seed South Carolina and 12 seed Missouri Tuesday.

Yeah Florida didn't throw their starters. Don't blame them either. Coach O knows what he is doing going for back to back.

The fact of the matter is that they were swept by what most of our fans said was the worst team in the SEC.

I just checked the scorecard and the gators didn't go up there and bunt every at bat. They made the game close early and they looked like they were trying to win. Also, the gators probably want to keep that #1 overall seed and I'm not sure if being swept in starkville hurts.

Moreover, the sweep doesn't take away from their great season but it does prove that miss state was not as bad as people thought.

Miss State took the series from the rebs as well before they played us.

We probably have the most negative fans from any team that’s a probable national seed that I’ve ever seen. If we had Ole Miss’ SEC schedule (didn’t play Florida and had us and Georgia at home) we win the west going away.

Someone compared the baseball program to settling for mediocrity just like the football team and Bielema

The problem is that Hog fans are starved for some success in any sport right now. The baseball program has been the best and most consistent program for over a decade.

Petrino had us rolling and then a cruel April Fools left our program a wreck. Literally. JLS and BB were awful and have set us back significantly.

Mike Anderson has had a small amount of success, but nothing sustained.

Our track program is middle of the pack in the SEC now.

Fans just need something to energize them again. This fan base isn't any worse than most other P5 programs.

Edit: I just started remembering the FOIA requests, flying banners over stadiums, setting Brandon Allen's truck on fire. Maybe we do have crappy fans.

It isn't any worse than anywhere else, bama was atrocious when they were losing, and how they treat Auburn. Texas is an unbelievable cluster frick when they aren't winning. Tenner... lol.

We are a very passionate fan base that deserves a piece of the pie for once. It has been a long time coming. Would be nice to have it in Baseball, Basket Ball, or Football for once. WPS!

What makes our fans more deserving than others? I think the fact that the majority of our fans took for granted our track success proves that we aren't deserving. Hell, half of our fanbase didn't even know about the baseball team until they received preseason hype. Ask one of these "deserving" fans who our pitching coach is and you'll get a blank stare.

More importantly, the loudest complainers usually contribute nothing to actually help the team win (donations/attending games etc.)
