Are there any names being thrown around other than Gus and Norvell?

I'd heard there was some sketchy stuff around Norvell at one point but can't remember what it is (re: why his name isn't being thrown around for more jobs)

I know he does. I've said as much several times. I've also said there's, obviously, people on our end who are interested too. But not everyone. Not everyone who matters.

I firmly believe he's gonna be an excellent HC.

He and Morris would do well in the SEC imo

Gus screwed over his Pals at Armani Ronnies Occult and finally we are free of this trash.

No problem for Brother Gus, the Occult will forgive and reflect. They'll be ready to ride again in 3 to 5 years. They never quit.

Sandman I will say this, it’s always better to be right than first. I may be wrong but things going down tonight would be way off from things I have heard from two different people. News should break tomorrow night about which way things will go with him. If he does stay, the plane goes to Memphis.

I feel that.

I will say, though, that "before the SECCG" was what some of our mods and all of the reliable insiders we've got have been saying, so this fits the narrative on our end.

It's also coming from a guy who has (apparently) been about as solid of an info provider as you can come by on the internet, which is what sparked the post on AUFamily and multiple corroborations across our pay sites.

My thoughts exactly. If this is all true, but I fully expect a theme brewing that we somehow did him wrong in the way he was offered the job, or we forced his hand too early and God himself spoke to his favorite son Gus and told him to stay at Auburn for now but you know really wants to come home.

Head west young Norvell!

I'm calling BS on that

Pat Dye is perpetually too drunk to form together coherent syllables, much less sentences containing intelligent thoughts

To be fair, Pat said he hadn’t heard anything. I doubt dude has been sober enough to understand anything since the 80’s

"If he intends to leave he is hiding it well. I've seen nothing on Auburn's end to suggest he intends to leave. " -- Pat Dye, yesterday.

BoarEd would hold Venable’s tallywacker in his mouth (but not suck on it). Sorry BoarEd, but I had to, considering your Venables promo posts over the past few days

Past few days? More like past few months when I first said to watch out for him to be out next coach. Right after Bert lost to South Carolina.

I wouldn't be against it if... if he brought in an incredible OC and some great recruiters to help him.
