Was fighting it but the Chad Morris 2.0 vibes are super strong right now.
Can we stop comparing every coach to the least successful P5 football coach of all-time?

Unfortunately, some people want to bitch and moan no matter what.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Pittman makes an appearance
quote:
Thus, it was only fitting that the lovable ol’ ball coach’s first public appearance since his firing from Arkansas would be to promote a cookbook. That shouldn’t be mistaken as poking fun at his weight. When you spend 40 years as a football coach, mostly in the South, food is the great uniter; a legitimate love language and a sin to turn down.
Throughout his slightly more than five years as the Head Hog, Pittman constantly espoused his love for the state and University of Arkansas. That’s part of what made his radio silence since his dismissal so jarring, especially given the heartfelt messages other fired coaches shared with their respective fanbases.
On Thursday evening, though, the 65-year-old left the friendly confines of his house on Lake Hamilton to sign books for Razorback fans alongside Arkansas baseball coach Dave Van Horn, his wife, Karen, who co-edited the book, and Hog legend David Bazzel. The event, held at Unwrapped Event and Gift Boutique in Hot Springs, drew a large crowd with lines looping around the venue.
The book, titled Eat Like the Hogs, is a collection of the favorite recipes of 200 former and current Arkansas coaches, players and other figureheads close to the athletic department. Recipes range from Pittman’s tuna fish salad to John Daly’s whiskey-dolloped steaks and just about everything in between.
