I don’t know of any names off top of my head but he had the #2 class among G5 schools last year and he’s #1 this year

Cool - wasn't a gotcha, I just don't know much about any of his players.
That said, if they're that talented, it's a little concerning he just lost to the candidate everyone hates

Silverfield has the most in NIL of the G5 schools and more than several schools in the Big12 and ACC.
Just because you saw Arkansas lose a game to him doesn't mean he's a good coach or what Arkansas needs with this hire.
Norvall had less questions around him as far as coaching abilities and is only being retained because of how many jobs are open and who the jobs are.
Silverfield has been available for every current opening and has received zero interest.

Could be that the Campbell smoke was always more about Golesh. Maybe the meeting with HY was as much of a gathering intel situation as an interview. Golesh coached under him for 4 seaons.

I’m not on the blatant bashing of Silverfield train and have only watched Memphis once but there was nothing impressive about them beating us at all.
Our team was just that utterly pathetic in that game.

Honestly an indictment of Silverfield that we should have won that game.
But now we're excited about the guy who is apparently capable of bringing in top-level talent, but just lost to the guy that we all think sucks, in his 3rd season.
I don't think Silverfield is a better coach. I'm just saying it's a little concerning.
