Really hoping we didn't pass on Morris for Wommack.

I'd rather he be at okie state instead of one of the dominos in the rest of the sec that falls after Kiffin decides what he's doing.

Not sure Womack while keeping the current offensive staff is a splash big money hire as initially promised. Unless that big money is all going towards NIL.

Let Morris prove himself at Okie lite then we might hire him in down the road

He wanted a job in Texas, but Baylor keeping Aranda changed that.

How many times have we been promised this? There’s honestly no way to track it so it’s all BS to me anyways. I think that’s a talking point that gets distributed so that people shut up about being disappointed with a coaching hire/decision.

I remember that was the promise of what would happen when we didn’t fire Pittman after 2023. “We are saving money from his buyout and using it in NIL to become more competitive”

Give me a break

We didn’t say no to Morris… bet he said no to us. I guarantee we are going to have to settle. No one wants this job… let’s just hire Bobby at this point and bring in another DC. Guarantee hunter is screwing this job search up

Give the job to Bobby. Hire a DC with a pulse. Dump all our money into NIL. Watch the wins roll in. It’s that easy.

I think Durkin would be a head coach soon.

Durkin most likely stays at Auburn

Probably not. Sumrall is a defense guy, and if Auburn doesn’t hire him, they’ve fricked up.

I’d prefer Bobby to most these guys but he will get absolutely no buy in from donors, so he would just flounder and fail.

Both could be true.

The issue seems to be Pittman having control on the money and how it was being split.

Clemson has had the same issues with Dabo.

It doesn't matter the amount of it's spent foolishly.

Im like 95 percent certain we have a coach already.. it’s too quiet inside the department.

Looks like he can (probably) be taken off the list.

The quiet is either embarrassment or it’s a coach that takes his current commitment seriously

Option 2 imo

Hence the reason I don't want Dabo anywhere close to the hill

Nah there would be sheer panic coming out, like we saw when Kiffin went back on his word for OM.

A guy on 247 says it’s Campbell, same guy said Bruce Pearl was retiring a week before he announced it.

Dang. If true it looks like we’re trying again. I guess I’ll need to buy season tickets.
