I was appalled at the lack of Hog fans that attended.

Maybe 1000 people were there to celebrate the life of a CFB legend.

Mike Slive, Greg Sankey, Vince Dooley and Johnny Majors attended.

What a damn shame that BWA , the house that Frank built wasn't packed by the NWA residents.

RIP Coach Broyles!

If you want to blame anyone, blame the national media. Frank was one of the most influential figures in college football, but because he wasn't associated with one of the traditional blue bloods, it wasn't a popular story. Hell, ESPN had the story on their front page for about 30-60 minutes before shifting it to the College Football Page.

also wonder if his spat with Nolan Richardson had anything to do with it.....

Sure most have likely gotten over it.

But wouldn't put it past SJW lib run media from not giving the man his due because of it.

Nolan spoke on the Pig Trail last night.

"We had our disagreements, but I have a lot of respect for Frank Broyles"

Yes, over things that are current. That is a big difference from holding on to something from like 15 years ago that many have forgotten about. As a whole most fans across the country don't remember any of that. Hell, I have people down here that will occasionally ask me about the situation because they have no idea what happened. It just seems more relevant because we lived it and still talk about it at times within our fan base.

Not saying it isn't possible but I think people are getting a little carried away with that idea.

BTW nice stream

Gotta do something for week one while they wrap up the rush order on the throwback uniforms.
