I blame the coaches mostly for not having the players ready and in good enough shape to beat a terrible Colorado state team.

play calling I get. I'm sure if they go back they take a chance on 4th and 1. seeing as state drove the field anyways. but I get the call. trying to protect lead and get out of there with a W.

we are bigger faster stronger at every position except 1 wideout. we should have won period. this is going to be a very frustrating year for everyone coaches included. I still expect a bowl game though if morris is worth a frick. there should be 6 wins on this schedule with our current team. we have some talent out there it just continues to not be adapted to.

Qback, TE, And their Oline wasn't bad. Their TE, as I was shown a couple days ago, is a Mackey winner or finalist.. Their Qback was lights about ours.

No disrespect to the guys we have, but I'm wondering if we face a QB all year that isn't significantly better than the QB's we have (excluding freshman)

Tulsa would be the only possible one that isn’t better than ours.

I said earlier this week that Harrell drop was the turning point. He catches that and we’re in field goal range at the very least, and take another few minutes off the clock.

Except at the most important position on the field and 4/5 of the second most important.

UCA was beating Tulsa in the 4th quarter so it would be pretty bad if we let them beat us lol

Qback

Ours are both more talented than that kid. he was ok but it's not like he's matt stafford reincarnated he just knew his offense.

Kelly has a better physical skillset if he just was capable of learning the offense. I do think that until we pick 1 neither will show any consistency and at this point i think you put in a freshman to see what happens. Why the hell not. if he sucks you don't even lose the red shirt.

Good coaches find ways to win. I'm not sure he'll get it done but he's got the talent on the team to do so this year.
I'm not asking for a championship. i'm asking to beat a 2 more OOC nobodys. Vandy, a sanctioned ole miss, and win a game we shouldn't. Had he won the games he should have then he wouldn't have to win one he shouldn't to get there.

Yes and no. Sometimes the hand you’re dealt is too much to overcome. Look no further than Petrino not making a bowl game his first year. He got his arse smoked in many games that first season. That didn’t mean he wasn’t a great coach though as he proved later.
