If the Sheridan school district was confined to just the city limits, they would drop to 4A and be more competitive.

Definitely. But most of the county (except for Poyen) is in the Sheridan school district

Bryant must be worse than expected as they got rolled by Alexandria from Louisiana.

Louisiana football is light years better than Arkansas and Alexandria is supposed to be pretty good by Louisiana standards this year

This is not the typical Bryant that we are used to.

The loss to Benton is uncharacteristic and may have something to do with the coaching.

They have beaten schools from outside of the state before.

I graduated from Bryant in 2012. Can’t remember the last time they started 0-2.

This is a down year for them.

They had an excellent run and it is about time they slowed down.

When I was a kid back in the 1900s Bryant was an afterthought in football. Seems like they were a baseball school back then. Benton was the better football program.

That's right.

It used to be the battle of the perennial losers between Bryant and Sheridan.
