WTF? How so? Seriously. He only has one top ten offense in his career as an offensive coordinator. I haven't verified it, but earlier someone on the radio had said they had checked into it and at each of his stops so far, his offenses have regressed from where they were before he got there.
Applewhite would be the farthest thing from a home run hire in my eyes. And it's kinda disconcerting to see so many people just be like, "yep. This would be a good hire." without even discussing his actual results on the field. It makes me feel like he's our guy and folks are whipping up support for him. Or trying to.
Not working with this guy. I am extremely underwhelmed by an Applewhite hire.

It's the Arkansas way, we've heard this name. Our media who we don't trust and have failed over and over again told us he was good.

I read his wikipedia page and holy shite that's not great. he was involved in the worst season in syracuse history for his first coaching stop after GA at texas.
Followed that up by going back to texas and eventually running the offense that got mack brown fired.
spent a little time at alabama and improved some on dave radar....who is dave radar?
oh and he banged a student at the fiesta bowl one time when he was coaching for texas.

Anything our media promotes or says I think this is a good idea, I immediately think probably going to fail.
That's my opposition towards Pittman at all. They circle jerked Nutt, JLS, Bielema and Morris so hard, that I just think No, No, Hell No.
I get they have to be nice to get interviews but to ask 0 questions anyone wants to hear about and pretty much slow stroke everyone of them?

briles has the most improvement from one to the next. but applewhite doesn't look all that bad.

If Applewhite is hired Pittman will 100 percent fail here. He MUST get the OC hire correct.
