I've noticed last season and this season he has a bad tendency to throw high.

Is he throwing off his backfoot, not stepping through, or what?

He is got to get the ball down if we are gonna have a shot.

What is his problem for you QB technique gurus?

He's not a High Quality SEC QB, just an ok one.

Where is Fredi Knighten when you need him

One of CA Stars

It really worries me that one of the young guys couldn't beat him out. I understand learning the system, but there's not much to it when you turn around and hand the ball off 40-50 times a game.

He settled down at the end of the half. I think he was too amped up early and was sailing the ball. His last drive was great.

He's ok as long as he doesn't throw deep.

FIFY

He is horrible when the game is on the line. Its like he falls to pieces in the second half if its a close game.

Chaney is not a QB developer he's a former OL/TE coach that calls plays.

BA's mechanics and base get sloppy and never corrected.

Need a QB coach/developer in the worst way for Rafe/Ty because one of those two has to be a 'hit' for success.

Not to defend BA's performance, but he would be better in his mechanics if our OL could improve on their pass blocking

I repeat, it scares the shite out of me that no one can beat him out for the starting job. It would not be hard...at all.

He's not just missing high... He also misses low, underthrows, overthrows, and makes poor decisions.

No, he has more time than most QBs to throw due to the run game.

He just is horrible.

He had all day to throw, and he's not terrible at throwing when he rolls out. That's not an excuse. He's just a bad QB.

I'm guessing the Allen brothers are just alike and Rafe is a true freshman.

I'm hoping Rafe will step up in the spring.

He's a chicken shite. He's falling back and throwing off his back foot even when no pressure is around. He acts like he's about to get fricking smashed on every throw. No follow through. That's why we don't throw down the middle. Over throw there = pick. He's not the guy. He don't have "it". I'm sure he don't wanna suck, but he does. And he gets way fricking worse in the fourth. If he's the best we got. WE ARE frickED for years to come.

ETA-I think Bert knows this too. That's why we're not wasting our kicker in for sure shite season's.

I do agree to some extent, but he panics way too soon. I think because he has taken some pretty big hits in previous years.

That's why he wears pads. Let's just say it and get it out there...he's a pussy.

I think so, he's more interested in the puss than being a great SEC qb.

Poor Hunter Henry every pass thrown to him is either 10 foot high or behind him....would be nice if Allen could hit him in stride.

Matter of time before Allen gets him lit up by a hard hitting safety
