Bonfield is barely above .300 and hasn’t even hit for double digit homers as a DH. I really wish DVH would have given other players more opportunities over him at times.

Not mad at all, you’ve just proved your ignorance of college baseball, time and time again.
As far as you deleting my posts and threads because it hurts your feelings, that’s on you.
If it makes you feel better about yourself, then delete on, I’m glad I can help in giving you a purpose in life

You have 9 active RA's right now from 5 different members. Talk about purpose in life...trolling on a message board. Big talk buddy.

To get back on track and answer an earlier question, I think we only had 2 signee's drafted Breaux and Beasley. It's kinda nice not to have to worry about losing half the signing class but not sure if we should be worried more weren't drafted.
But it seems the draft has changed significantly over the past few years since they implemented the slots for signing bonuses. Team probably have a better idea upfront if a kid will sign and are wasting picks on guys, Noland being a good example.

The draft will hurt us next year for sure. Pitching will be a huge factor on how we shake out in 2019

They have 15 or so pitchers coming in for fall practice. Should be the most interesting in a while with virtually every spot open except Martin, Kjerstad, Fletcher and Opitz.

Someone said Campbell will be back for his R-Jr year? If so and he can stay healthy he can definitely be a top tier ace.
But yeah beyond that good luck, not a lot of quality arms on the roster at least at the moment.
I would guess Bonnin will get a starter spot. And about 2 months ago my other guess would have been Rutledge getting a spot.

Can you go ruin a different board now?

Yea I’d guess Bonin gets a shot to start as well. Not sure after that. Saw a way too early 2020 draft board and they had him as a 1st or 2nd rounder

I'm hoping Hunter Milligan and Caleb Bolden can get their confidence and control back over fall ball. I'm really hoping Milligan stays onboard and doesn't transfer anywhere. You could see the potential in them through a couple of midweek performances they had.

I always think back to guys like Drew Smyly. He had pretty pedestrian stats and lots of frustrating outings in his first year, then he almost throws a no-hitter against OU in the Regional or Super Regional and never looked back. Hope some of these younger guys can do the same.

I think Bonnin is the key to next year's pitching.
Also, do we consider pulling an LSU and making Cronin a starter.

Just read an article suggesting we expect Lee to sign.

Campbell could be the most experienced pitcher on the Arkansas roster if he returns next season. The Razorbacks are expected to lose junior starters Blaine Knight and Kacey Murphy, and sophomore reliever Evan Lee to professional contracts this off-season.
