I'll take Pete Golding

I don't care what the idiot Alabama fans think of him, he's got the 15th rated defense in America, and Alabama has an even split on season time of possession at 30 minutes per game, so Golding is not benefiting from the Tide offense keeping the defense off the field, because they're not

Almost all those Bama fans literally think they are just a half rung of knowledge under Bill Belichick - those idiots literally think they're smarter than Saban - I wouldn't mind taking a Saban guy

the guy at Boise State would be a good one to look at - 7th ranked defense in the nation and an even split at 30 minutes on Boise's time of possession - Spencer Danielson, an up and comer

the guy at Syracuse

he's rated number 30 nationwide in total defense, all the while having to deal with Syracuse' offense only keeping the ball 27 minutes a game and being ranked 114th in time of possession - Tony White, he's been doing a good job for a while now

Tony White and Spencer Danielson, you will keep hearing their names in the coming years - I'd take either one of them

White played at UCLA, Danielson played at little Azuza Pacific

coming from you, that's a compliment

maybe you and the Gump fans can get together and do an intervention on Saban and confront him about not knowing what's he's doing

not bad, wasn't aware of this guy. Much prefer hiring guys who have proven they can perform with less talent than their opponents

Harry, the only way we would get Golding is if Saban allowed it

But please tell me about their stats when he has Saban helping him and more talent than everyone he faces

since people don't learn by working for the best in the business...

and obviously you don't know his production at smaller jobs before he arrived at Alabama

typical smartass Porcine

His relationship with Saban is reportedly on the outs and Saban is probably going to help "place him" somewhere else

Right and I'm sure it has nothing to do with his performance

I do not understand how State has held on to him for this long. I’d have thought some bigger program would have grabbed him by now.

For those who complain Odom doesn't recruit, is Patterson known as a guy who can? It's not a good look when you leave a middling program and then the new guy comes in and immediately makes them a CFP team.

Not really. Patterson's rep was always that of a player development guy. He was known for taking speed 'athlete' guys and skill position recruits and developing them into linebackers, secondary players, and ends.
