nstead of having his agent seek jobs, Bielema was happy to help the Patriots and let the Razorback Foundation allow him and his family to live a life of luxury.
His Arkansas contract, approved by former athletic director Jeff Long, even allowed Bielema to make $50,000 a year and it not count against his monthly payments from his buyout.
No wonder Long was fired first.
It now seems Bielema, through his agent Neil Cornrich, is fighting back, and the whole thing may be headed to court.
If the Patriots are sticking it to the Razorback Foundation and paying Bielema just $50,000 a year, then shame on a team owner who may have spent that much at massage parlors.
And shame on Bielema for not seeking a full-time job within weeks of being fired.

Pretty cut and dry. Foundation will come out smelling like a rose with this. Nothing to worry about.

I haven't seen where he made a legit effort at finding a new head coach position, a lot like the effort he put out when coaching the hogs.

Yep. I'm not too worried about this. Bert could have easily at least put in the effort to look for another head coaching gig somewhere. Instead he's pursuing his dream of coaching in the NFL and starting off at a low level to do it.

Well that is fine and dandy but doesn't really fulfill the terms of the contract we had with him. We weren't going to shell out millions of dollars a year for him to be a "volunteer" for the Patriots.

Bert still has plenty of money from his Wisconsin and Arkansas days and defensive line coaches in the NFL are exactly forced to take a second job at the corner gas station to make ends meet. He will be just fine.

Contract disputes for his contract are adjudicated in Arkansas Court. I wonder what judge he plans on finding that wants to end his career by ruling in Bert's favor

By the time the decision is handed down it will not be breaking or even big news.

Chief's dispute with LSU was big news, but no news when/if that was ever decided.

LSU vs Les Miles was ramping up, he took the Kansas job.

There was talks about OM disputing Nutt's buyout, but he did interview and try to get jobs he was never going to get (which fulfills his obligation).

All Bert had to do was get his agent to get him in the running of every major job open he was never going to land, but basically Bert is a lazy lazy man.

Bingo. If he had made a vague effort to land a head coaching job we'd have to grit our teeth and keep paying him. He couldn't be bothered to do that though.

How fricking stupid are these morons on twitter asking for him to come back !!! I mean what the frick. This world is full of stupid fricking people. Worse coach ever in the history of our program. And shite like we miss you, come back... What the frick. The man destroyed this program. He stopped, flat out stopped recruiting. His coaching was a nightmare as he was lost on the sideline standing around drooling on himself like a retard in a mental hospital. fricking people are ignorant. Hey Bert. Go frick yourself for what you did to my school. I'd say I hope you get brain cancer and die. But its obvious you have gone through life without a brain so it wouldn't matter.

Pretty much the long and short of it. He'd rather sue than simply interview for a job, but then he'd run the risk of getting hired and actually having to start work again.
