With Rawleigh Williams crossing the 1,000 yard mark this weekend, Bert extended his streak of 1,000 rushers to 11 seasons. Pretty impressive when you consider the fact that he's never not had a tailback rush for 1,000 yards as a head coach.

What could have been if he had stayed more than 1 year

Next year I expect to see 2 thousand yard rushers again. And my wild card pick is Hammonds goes for 1k total yards between offense and special teams

Our current streak is at 4 years, which corresponds with Bert's tenure here.

We only had one 1,000 yard rusher (2010, Knile Davis) from 2009 to 2012. Petrino had a 1,000 rusher in 2008 and 2010.

Our last multi year streak was from 2005 to 2008 and featured 1,000 seasons by McFadden (3), Felix (2), and Michael Smith (2008).
