By a decent margin over #2 Virginia and a large margin over the rest of the field. Obviously we're only 4 games in and competition hasn't been great, but this is extremely encouraging going forward. We are playing great team defense. We play South Dakota tomorrow who is ranked #18 in offensive efficiency and 4-0 on the year as well. It will be by far our biggest test, and should be a fun one to watch.

Just keep winning, tomorrow night will be a tough game. They have a guy named Tyler Hagedon who was 8-8 from 3point shots against Texas Southern. The amazing thing is he is 6 foot 10.

Efficiancy at least in football is maybe the most translatable analytic Stat to wins. Hopefully in basketball it's the same.

Also, Having Vanover would be such an advantage this year. I would be confident in our tournament chances and ability to pull some upsets if we had a giant 3point shooting wing.

Btw, St. John's is 39th.

Efficiancy is the

Sills getting it going would help a lot too once the competition gets tougher. Can't believe he hasn't made a 3 yet this year.

I'm glad you clarified the thread title with "Basketball," I totally would've assumed you meant the football team

I could've been talking about women's basketball, volleyball, or soccer. The basketball part was necessary, your comment wasn't.

Last year's team was .977, that would rank 190th.

This is why the game on Friday will be so much fun. It's their strength vs our strength. We should come out with the win, but it will be a battle. I'm already drinking the Kool-Aid, but if we can manage to keep the #1 defensive efficiency ranking after tommorrow, then go on the road to Georgia Tech, beat them, and still be #1 in the nation in D effecincey well........

It wasn't a joke at your expense, mostly just making a joke about our football team and it's horrendous defense

I took it too personal, my apologies. Gotta say tho you gave me a perfect opportunity to use the spanking emoji, those are rare.
