Yeah but he isn't going to have those receives again, unless we get some great performances out of the young guys.

I mean, I’m not be expecting a ton. He’s a transitional guy while Jefferson learns the offense and whatnot. He’ll be better than Storey.

Yes he had two NFL receivers to throw to but he still knows that playbook inside and out which is more than any one on the current roster can say.

Sure and I still think he is an upgrade for the knowledge of the playbook and he is a better passer but those receives made him look so much better.

Agreed, he is a bridge to the future at the QB position. He isn't going to be the reason we fail, if we do.

I’ll say this. Hicks will damn sure lead us to 4 OOC wins. Not sure he’ll fair well against SEC defenses.

I like this simply because it'll be a guy in the QB room that knows the system and also can see the process the staff is taking. I think he will be good for team chemistry.

What were Hicks’ stats when he was actually running Morris’ offense?

Plus he'll be able to help teach our players the nuances of the offense and allow the coaches to open the playbook more

Seems like a really good fit and understands our 'why', which is big.

Bet we still add one more grad transfer QB

Hicks is an upgrade. Like getting upgraded on Delta from a middle seat in Row 42 to an aisle seat in Economy Comfort. Not exactly the upgrade you were wanting but an improvement in the level of comfort non the less.
