He definitely had or maybe has legit sources
When he was hognonymous, he was calling commitments & other program related stuff before anyone else. His predictions could be taken to the bank.
Sounds like his sources ghosted him once he revealed himself. I’d quit following what he posted because his stuff dried up. Seems he’s still at least somewhat plugged in, not to the extent he once was tho.

Totally possible. It’s just hard to believe given what I know and have seen. I mean the kid doesn’t even wake up and comb his hair half the time or look like he ever takes a shower I know that’s mean as shite, just telling what I know

So he’d fit in just fine with our other ‘recognized’ media recruiting ‘experts’
Guess he’s lacking in people skills & probably went too hard in the paint once he revealed his true identity. The other scrubs we have for recruiting experts have had time to learn the nuances of not being too creepy.

You would expect some decommits with a new staff. Flipping the in-state kids is going to affect that I'm sure. Memphis had several high rated 3 stars committed so I'm assuming that at least a couple (like the WR from SC) will probably flip to us.
Of course we don't know how the portal is going to go yet.
We need to expect several to portal out and that's going to be a good thing especially if they are defensive players.... going to need a lot of new blood on that side.
I haven't had time to look at our roster yet, but I'm sure the portal guys will be pretty obvious for the most part.

Good to see some of these guys who had ZERO interest from P4 schools but somehow were going to save our program hit the road this morning.
SIlvercock already culling the weak.
Ari Slocum - Guy was projected as a DL but had very little experience at DL.
Ashton Dawson - Petrino was recruiting him only as a fullback, Louisiana Tech is hot on his tail now.
Ashley Walker - OT that probably goes to FIU. Wasn't even top 200 in Florida.

Yeah... didn't expect him to hang on to the fringe recruits. I think he may have a couple more big rabbits up his sleeve today.

Only update I saw was he contacted the coach late last night and they would be in contact today.
Not sure exactly what that means at this point except that he at least will make a pitch to him.

Sounds like we may be going after Peyton Falzone. 4* QB who was committed to Auburn. 6-5 200 lbs. Don't have a Rivals sub but he's the only 4* who has recently decomitted.

But Silverfield taking the time to recruit, make calls to donors, coaches, meet our current team and coaches of other sports.
Formulate a plan, do radio shows, tv shows, and get read for the complete intro was brilliant.

This hit me today.
I wonder if it was coach's idea to wait a few days so he could get some "wins" with the fans before being announced? IF he knew he had the job a week ago and needed to round up these instate kids as soon as it was announced, this was a smart move by him. Maybe he will have a few more of his staff picked out by Thurs as well?

Whoever thought of it I like it a lot more now.... makes a ton of sense. Didn't seem to on Sunday.
