Exactly. No one and including myself in this at least wouldn't want to invest in "aw shucks", "yessir", and "turn that jukebox on". Its all lame and dumb as frick. Plus, the guy is old as shite to be his first head coaching gig.

HY better pull a rabbit out of his hat on the next hire.

Well, you can bet your arse Pittman bought himself another year, or more than likely will (I guess). With that said, I don't want to just fire a coach for the helluva it w/o having another good coach locked down.

Bottom line is, we need to quit fricking around and do whatever is damn fricking well necessary to be a player in the SEC and everything else will take care of itself.

Bobby Petrino proved that a good coach can get it done here. We just need to make a good hire.

I get your point, and this isn't necessarily directed at you. But, I am so sick and tired of seeing his name at every negative juncture. Dude's recruiting was going down with the loss of the in state boys... And the attrition on his recruits was crazy, losing them left and right.

He also isn't what he once was in passion, and creativity. See Louisville for example. Now, somebody younger with his past passion without being suck a jerk... Sure, hire em quick!

Pittman wasn't getting shite canned this year even if he lost out.
Razorback football has embraced mediocrity and worse than that.

His only point was that it proves we can win in the sec. I guess he could’ve just said 2010/2011 proves we can win.

You're correct. That was my point. I thought it was obvious, but to some, it wasn't.

1. Start forking over a ton of cash.

2. Vastly improve the number of quality SEC level high school players in Arkansas, and sign them.

That should about get us up there with the top teams in the SEC consistently.

See first item on list. Should greatly reduce defections. There's a reason 'money' is first on the list.

We take losses in football in order to fund our other competitive sports which are at the top of their respective sports.

The football situation is very complex issue as it takes more than just NIL or throwing more money at it. Schools with better built-in resources have thrown massive money at football and still got the same results because the same 5-10 schools are the ones that always win in football with talent.

I don't see winning the SEC in football possible in the current/future SEC.

Arkansas needs to simply not self-sabotage in football and those in power do all they can to screw it up.

LSU and Ole Miss were the frontrunners when Collins made his commitment to Arkansas in April and now it looks like the Rebels are very much back in play. With the Razorbacks struggling in close losses this season and the uncertainty around coach Sam Pittman’s future in Fayetteville - plus Ole Miss’ season going really well - the Rebels are definitely one to watch moving forward.

I really want to know who thought that message was a good idea. I clicked on it expecting it to be something new and exciting around NIL for football and instead left disappointed without sending his email.

We once again are being left behind on the idea of principals and integrity.

Dude, it is a bunch of baloney. If we are going to be in the SEC< we must have a top 5 nil in football or it is useless....

I get that what is currently happening with NIL isn't a great thing overall with recruiting, etc. But, we have to do more than most, and keep up with others. It sucks!

Convince the Waltons to quit building bike trails and parks and dump their billions into the nil, problem solved.

Eventually they will run out of room for more trails and art museums, so hopefully they get bored enough to switch to NIL
