That usually happens when one of the services doesn’t have an opportunity to evaluate a prospect at a camp they’re at.

Kendall Briles is the new OC at Arkansas, D'eriq King was a monster playing under Briles at Houston..
King is more than likely transferring out of Houston this off-season, King to Arkansas?

I've seen friends on Facebook that apparently know King say in messages replying to links of Briles being hired, saying king is coming to Arkansas fwiw

If king comes we may actually be sneaky good on offense next year! Elite qb. Elite OC/play caller. Tq Jackson may explode next year, along with burks, turner, and knox... boyd coming back. Having an actual center who can snap the ball in jones. Clary playing guard like he was meant to. Stromberg getting up to 300 lbs, cunningham having good coaching, along with Gatlin not being hurt... dare I say we might not suck on the line, and have bad arse weapons with a real OC????

If we do add King that would completely change everything as far as next year goes. KJ just didn't look anywhere close to being ready, obviously the new coaching staff can upgrade him, but with a guy like King we could actually sniff a bowl appearance in year one, though the schedule is a nightmare next year

With King, Boyd, Burks and Knox we would have one of the best offenses in the country. Forget sniffing a bowl appearance. We goin to da ship. Some body hold me back

I’m excited at the potential of the offense too but the defense is still a big concern for me. Knowing our luck the offense will be good while the defense is still bad and then in 2021 the defense will get turned around while the offense falls off.

What does this mean? Like we'd just ghost a recruit who was committed and not call him?
Don't see this staff doing that. Would hope not at least even if they didn't want him.
