Yeah just a few hours ago announced it.
Apparently he wanted to commit to Oregon on his visit there but then they landed 5* Dior Johnson and now he is reopened again and sounds like it's between us and Georgetown.

Would we even take his commit right now with all the folks we’ve been bringing in and have instate?

Not sure, saw where Nebraska may be in the mix too. Pretty crazy that we're in a spot where we can realistically slow play a guy like him.

It is a little crazy we are in a nice spot like this.
We are probably getting at least 5 spots open next year and thats being conservative.
With Pinson already committed and looks like Ford/Ware are very real possibilities, you would think Muss is trying to decide how he wants to use them all. That doesn't even include what he wants to do in the portal.

Seems like this is kind of the pecking order of guys we’re in on right now:
PG - Nick Smith, Austin Nunez, Ramel Lloyd
SG - Derrian Ford
SF - Pinion
PF - Barry Dunning, Jordan Walsh, Zuby Ejiofor
C - Kijani Wright, Kelel Ware
Positions may not be accurate on some of those but man if we can just land any combination of 5 of those plus a transfer that’s outstanding. Guys like Bobi Klintman out there too from overseas on top of everyone else.

We're not getting Smith or Wright.

Yeah I figured they’re probably the longest shots but I saw where Smith moved his OV weekend to the Texas football game so at least there’s a chance to leave an impression

Wow I’m old. I remember his dad playing at Memphis while I was in college.

Jordan Walsh is now a 5* on ESPN and the #12 ranked player in the country

Dude. Same. Jesus.
Dude had a ton of hype right? Can’t remember it specifically but it was a story.
Nice connection for sure

Holy shite the new updated ESPN 2022 and 2023 rankings show how good Muss/our program staff is at evaluating.

I feel a lot better at our chances at getting Walsh. He’s already at an elite college defender level now
