Former South Carolina guard, Erik Stevenson, named a top 4 with the Hogs being one of the teams.

Stevenson is a free throw machine. Only missed 1 all year.

Based on his shooting splits, he seems like a dude that would make a great replacement to Lykes' "take stupid shots but hit clutch free throws" role.

Pretty solid big man option it seems. Watching a few short vids on him he looks like he would be able to hold his own in the block vs other SEC bigs. Dangerous combo option w JWill on the court at the same time.

Was playing around on torvik with sorting players in the portal, imo he is the best all around big in the portal and I don't think its really close as of right now. He can rebound, defend the rim, hit the occasional 3, etc
I also like that he didn't disappear in their bigger games last year

Just realized I've seen blocker play already against Parkview. Was probably the 6th best player on the court

Good for both parties, best of luck to him

Feel bad for the guy. Imagine looking at the roster before last year and thinking "I could get a lot of playing time there" and then Muss signs the best recruiting class in Arkansas history*
*probably, I didn't look it up

Insane we are at a point where a top 75 player looks down the bench and decides to move on.

Was probably his younger brother unless you watched Sunrise Christian out of Kansas this year.

SMITH AND THE HOGS ARE ROLLING
quote:
Over the course of three practice sessions, the talk of the McDonald’s festivities has been the play of Nick Smith.
Already ranked in the top five by 247Sports, Smith is making a pretty big push to creep up at least a few more spots and he could ultimately challenge for the No. 1 spot.
Headed to Arkansas, Smith has been dynamic off the dribble as playmaker who can get to the rim or easily create for others. He’s a wiggly athlete who can shoot with range and while he’s lean now, he’s got a frame to grow into.
What a player he’s going to be in Fayetteville and if he plays Tuesday night like he’s been playing, everybody is in for a treat.
Thanks to the addition of five-star point guard Anthony Black on Monday night, Arkansas joins Duke and Kansas with three players in the game. Ranked No. 14 overall, Black has used his size and vision to impress as a passer and he’s also proven to be a versatile defender. No doubt Hogs fans will be very excited to get a look at him in the game.
Playing alongside Smith and Black on the West team will be Jordan Walsh. The No. 20 player in the senior class, Walsh has been pretty quiet through three days. However, his length, athleticism and style of play are suited to an up and down game and the way these types of games go, he could be primed for a breakout game.

Yeah Aimaq looks like the kind of player we've been missing for a long time. The guy that just cleans up the glass and pulls the opposing defense away from the perimeter. And then pushes the opposing offense out of the paint.

So the next Steven Hill? Let’s get him.
