FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The clock for a potential reclassification decision for current 2027 Arkansas Razorbacks commit Davion Thompson is nearing with the Nike EYBL circuit in Las Vegas this weekend.
During events in Atlanta and Memphis, Thompson was drilling over 50% of his three-point attempts, which became the expectation for him. But, he eventually put his struggles to rest on Saturday when he drilled four from beyond the arc while recording 22 points, six rebounds, and four assists.
With Thompson's decision looming it could blow the door wide open for Black, the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2027 class, to take his talents to Arkansas like his brother Anthony did four years ago.
Should Thompson ultimately decide to join the Razorbacks, the move would allow Thompson to arrive in Fayetteville a full year early and join what is already considered the nation's top recruiting class.

Get that man to Fayetteville no matter what it takes.

Sounds just like what we wanted to finish off the class.

I saw Muss sitting next to Cal at an event and laughed. Head back to Southern California little man, the big boys are here.

I will never understand talking shite on Muss. Is he somebody whose personality will naturally wear out its welcome? Sure. But he built us back up and brought us great moments and was the best in-game coach of my lifetime.
Arkansas wouldn’t have this class without Muss. He left in a bad spot, but that was a moment versus the 2x E8, S16, and I’m just going to assume Mason Jones would get us a F4 along with the baseball team winning a Natty in 2020.
Talking shite on Bert? Eh I get it. Sam? Eh I get it. Chad? If you don’t I hate you. But Muss? I don’t get that.

The reason why is the way he left Arkansas.

Sorry I hurt your feelings Benny.
He did all those things then burned bridges on the way out. We forget that 16-17 season he finished up with I guess. Now he’s stuck at a program that will struggle to be on our level. Had he not pissed off money he’d probably still be here with the same support Cal has. Instead he shopped every west coast job that came open and now he’s getting humbled.

Same here.
I appreciate everything he did for Arkansas. I was fairly upset when he left because I believed in him that much. It didn't help that DIPSHIT Yurachek posted that video. So ridiculous.
But he's gone now, and Calipari is a HOF coach. I just hope Cal can find a special group of kids and take us back to the promise land.

He lost 15 games with a roster that had more future NBA talent than any team in program history.
His last year he had a top 10 portal class and missed the NCAA tournament.
He is an a-hole and very hard to work with. People were getting tired of antics such as flipping people off and trying to get into fights with fans.
He was our a-hole and we tolerated his behavior, so we defended him.
But when he started his decline, it got old real fast and the pressure here was getting under his skin.
I do appreciate what he did at Arkansas but he burned bridges and roads when he left for USC.

NEW: Former Arkansas Razorback, Kamani Johnson, has been hired by John Calipari and the hogs as a grad assistant primarily helping the forwards.
There has been no official announcement by the university, however he has been seen for weeks helping with the team and @pigtrailnation reported that he is on the staff as a grad assistant. Thoughts? #wps
